Melaleuca is seeking a Scientist – Product Safety at its Global Headquarters in Idaho Falls, ID. You’ll apply toxicology and risk assessment to support product safety across lifecycle, collaborating with R&D, Regulatory, Quality and Clinical teams to translate science into practical safety recommendations.

You will evaluate exposures, interpret literature, and help advance safe products from concept through commercialization, while communicating findings clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related field.
• Ph.D. with 0–3 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 2–5 years in toxicology or product safety.
• Strong foundation in toxicology, including hazard, dose, exposure and risk.
• Ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and toxicological data.
• Strong scientific writing, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Assess product safety of ingredients, formulations and finished products using toxicological data.
• Apply toxicology and risk assessment to characterize hazards and determine safe conditions of use.
• Interpret scientific literature and data to identify data gaps and form evidence-based conclusions.
• Partner with formulators and product teams to address safety early in development.
• Evaluate adverse events and post-market safety signals to guide follow-up.
• Prepare clear safety documentation and communicate findings to technical and non-technical partners.
