Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Product Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead and support compliance initiatives across a diverse portfolio of products in a Midwest-based manufacturing environment. The role reports to Legal and collaborates with executive leadership, engineering, supply chain, and customers to translate regulatory requirements into practical actions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in product regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of California Proposition 65, PFAS, REACH, RoHS, conflict minerals and related product regulations.
• Ability to gather technical and compliance information from suppliers, manufacturing teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate regulatory concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support product regulatory compliance activities across a diverse manufacturing organization.
• Establish and continuously improve programs addressing Prop 65, PFAS, REACH, RoHS, conflict minerals and related regulations.
• Respond to customer and internal requests involving regulatory documentation, Certificates of Conformity, product composition and labeling.
• Partner with suppliers and third-party resources to gather accurate compliance data.
• Work with Legal and leadership to translate regulatory requirements into practical actions.
• Perform risk/benefit assessments and communicate regulatory risk to leadership for decision making.
• Monitor emerging regulations and identify potential impacts to products, facilities, suppliers, and customers.
• Advise manufacturing facilities and business units on testing, documentation, and labeling requirements.
• Support environmental and sustainability-related compliance initiatives as they intersect with product regulation.
• Coordinate with outside resources and audits as needed.
