Job summary

3dB Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Product Quote Specialist to manage quotes for software and hardware, collaborating across Field Applications, Engineering, Business Development, Production, and Product teams to gather requirements and ensure accuracy.

The role emphasizes customer service, organization, and problem-solving with room to grow into a more technically capable quotes and pre-sales support position. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong customer service attitude and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn product offerings, quoting processes, and internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage accurate quotes for software, hardware, and integrated system solutions, including custom configurations.
• Collaborate with Field Applications, Engineering, Business Development, Production, and Product teams to gather information and ensure quote accuracy.
• Engage directly with customers to clarify requirements, validate assumptions, respond to inquiries, and accelerate quoting.
• Provide clear product information and guidance on product capabilities and deployment options.
• Ensure quotes align with product standards, pricing strategy, and margin objectives.
• Own post-quote follow-up activities, track active quotes, and identify opportunities at risk of stalling.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Managers, and Field Team to address customer objections or information gaps.
• Manage internal tools to support customer service, internal communication, clean data, and opportunity visibility.
• Improve quoting workflows, templates, and internal knowledge resources.
• Prepare regular reports on quoting activities and customer support metrics for management review.
