Kemps in Minneapolis is seeking a Product Puller for the corrugated section. You will assemble orders, manage conveyors, and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires teamwork, basic math, and clear communication; familiarity with company systems and SOPs is helpful. Fulltime on-site role with standard GMP practices and DFA guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
  • Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble customer orders in the corrugated section.
  • Place assembled orders on proper conveyor or designated area.
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
  • Support preventative maintenance plans.
  • Monitor product quality and report problems to mitigate safety issues.
  • Complete production and quality logs.
  • Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
  • Ensure paperwork is filled out clearly and accurately.
  • Document information according to SOPs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes with continuous improvement mindset.
  • Report food safety/quality issues to management immediately.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and comply with regulations.
  • Follow DFA GMPs and related requirements.

Job description

Kemps in Minneapolis has an opening for a Product Puller in our corrugated section. This role will perform a a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant or yard.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble customer orders in the corrugated section.
  • Place assembled orders on proper conveyor or designated area.
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
  • Support preventative maintenance plans
  • Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
  • Complete production and quality logs
  • Furnish accurate counts on load tags
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
