Job summary

Kemps Minneapolis, a DFA brand, is seeking a warehouse operator to perform a mix of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to support product distribution. The role requires ability to pull and stack orders, maintain rotation, and document counts and logs in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and warehouse or production experience. Teamwork, clear communication, and basic math skills are essential to succeed in this role at DFA’s facility

Responsibilities

• Pull and stack product based on customer daily orders.
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
• Complete production and quality logs.
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
• Ensure all paperwork is clear, legible, and accurate per SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management immediately.

Kemps in Minneapolis has an opening for a fast paced and motivated warehouse operator to perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull and stack product based on customer daily orders
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Support preventative maintenance plans
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
• Complete production and quality logs
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
