Job summary

Kemps Minneapolis, a DFA farmer-owned brand, is seeking a Product Puller in the corrugated area. You will assemble orders, load and unload materials, and ensure correct counts and documentation in a fast-paced plant environment.

Role emphasizes teamwork, accurate record keeping, and adherence to GMP and safety standards. Training in SOPs and quality logging is provided to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble customer orders in the corrugated section.
  • Load, unload, and move materials within the plant or yard.
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain products in proper order and rotation.
  • Support preventative maintenance plans.
  • Monitor product quality and report problems.
  • Complete production and quality logs.
  • Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
  • Ensure all paperwork is clear and accurate.
  • Document information per SOPs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Report food safety and quality issues to management.

Job description

Kemps in Minneapolis has an opening for a Product Puller in our corrugated section. This role will perform a a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant or yard.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble customer orders in the corrugated section.
  • Place assembled orders on proper conveyor or designated area.
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
  • Support preventative maintenance plans
  • Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
  • Complete production and quality logs
  • Furnish accurate counts on load tags
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
