Job summary

Kemps in Minneapolis is seeking a Product Puller to assemble customer orders in the corrugated section and move materials within the plant/yard. The role runs a 5:00pm – 3:30am schedule, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, with duties ranging from loading to quality checks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior warehouse or production experience; certification may be required. Teamwork and clear communication are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders in the corrugated section.
• Place assembled orders on proper conveyor or designated area.
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
• Support preventative maintenance plans.
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Complete production and quality logs.
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out clearly and accurately with required information.
• Document all information per SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes using a continuous improvement mindset.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health/safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Kemps in Minneapolis has an opening for a Product Puller in our corrugated section. This role will perform a a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant or yard.

Hours:5:00pm - 3:30am Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders in the corrugated section.
• Place assembled orders on proper conveyor or designated area.
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Support preventative maintenance plans
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
• Complete production and quality logs
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
