Job summary

Kemps in Minneapolis is seeking a Loader Operator for our cooler. This role operates equipment per procedures, helps manufacture products, and assists in related areas as needed. Hours are 5:00am - 3:30pm Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat.

Primary duties include loading store orders, replenishing inventory, and handling equipment like palletizers, banders, forklifts, and pallet jacks while ensuring safety and compliance with DFA GMP and health standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Warehouse/production experience preferred.
• Able to operate equipment safely and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load all assembled store orders on truck and trailers following load diagrams or instructions.
• Replenish picking inventory as needed.
• Operate machinery such as palletizer, bander, forklift or pallet jack.
• Rotate products to facilitate proper code rotation.
• Record information on required forms as needed.
• Report any food safety and quality issues to management.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and DFA rules and support sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

Kemps in Minneapolis has an opening for a Loader Operator in our cooler. This role will operate equipment according to established procedures, manufacture products, and assist in other department areas as needed.

Hours:5:00am - 3:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Load all assembled store orders on truck and trailers following appropriate load diagrams or instructions including but not limited to floor loads, pallet loads, bossies, and home delivery trucks.
• Replenish picking inventory as needed
• Operate machinery such as: palletizer, bander, forklift or pallet jack
• Rotate products to facilitate proper code rotation
• Record information on required forms as needed
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
