Job summary

The Ladders is seeking a Senior Director of Product and Platform Security to shape security strategy across product and platform services. You will partner with product and engineering leadership to embed secure‑by‑design practices from inception and extend security into hardware areas.

Remote role for US‑based candidates, with a compensation range of $275,000–$440,000 annually. You will guide offensive security, vulnerability management, and improve developer experience with security tooling

Qualifications

• 5–7 years managing a multi‑team security engineering organization.
• Experience in cloud security, especially with infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to reduce developer friction while enhancing security coverage.
• Background in SaaS/cloud engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to integrate security into product development.
• Oversee shared services and secure defaults for product teams.
• Manage application and cloud security programs, including secure development and vulnerability management.
• Improve developer experience through security tools and training.
• Lead offensive security initiatives through red teaming and vulnerability assessments.
• Extend security practices to cover hardware as part of product security.
• Guide and develop the existing security team while planning for future growth.
