The Ladders is seeking a Senior Director of Product and Platform Security to shape security strategy across product and platform services. You will partner with product and engineering leadership to embed secure‑by‑design practices from inception and extend security into hardware areas.

Remote role for US‑based candidates, with a compensation range of $275,000–$440,000 annually. You will guide offensive security, vulnerability management, and improve developer experience with security tooling

Qualifications

• 5–7 years managing a multi‑team security engineering organization.
• Experience in cloud security, especially with infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to reduce developer friction while enhancing security coverage.
• Background in SaaS/cloud engineering.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Product and Platform Security to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will shape the security strategy across product development and platform services, ensuring secure‑by‑design practices are embedded from the start. The role will partner closely with product and engineering leadership to reduce risk while improving developer experience and delivery speed. It will also guide offensive security, vulnerability management, and the extension of security practices into hardware‑related product areas.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $275,000 – $440,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to integrate security into product development
