Job summary

Kemps Minneapolis is seeking a fast-paced and motivated warehouse operator to perform receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to support efficient product distribution.

Key duties include pulling and stacking orders, maintaining proper rotation, recording logs, and ensuring paperwork is complete and legible. You will work in a team, follow DFA GMP and safety rules, identify process improvements, and report issues to keep products safe and compliant.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Warehouse or general work experience preferred.
  • Able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and stack product based on customer daily orders.
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
  • Support preventative maintenance plans.
  • Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues.
  • Complete production and quality logs.
  • Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out clearly and completely.
  • Document information in accordance with SOPs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes using continuous improvement mindset.
  • Report food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and comply with regulations.
  • Follow GMPs and sanitary/quality requirements.
  • Note: other duties may be assigned as required.

Kemps in Minneapolis has an opening for a fast paced and motivated warehouse operator to perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pull and stack product based on customer daily orders
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
  • Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
  • Support preventative maintenance plans
  • Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
  • Complete production and quality logs
  • Furnish accurate counts on load tags
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Able to effectively work in a team environment
  • Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
  • Able to use company computer systems
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to follow directions
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
