Job summary
Caterpillar in Dallas, TX is seeking a Product Owner to lead project planning and backlog management within an Agile team. You will partner with Scrum Masters, developers, and product management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and clear priorities for each sprint.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of product ownership in software, strong governance and decision-making skills, and experience with Azure DevOps; PMP/CSM a plus.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of vehicle simulation, sensor simulation, terrain simulation, scenario generation, digital twins, simulation services, and simulation validation.
- 5+ years of direct product ownership experience with software engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Extensive experience using Azure DevOps is REQUIRED.
- PMP certification (Nice to Have)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired
- Knowledge of Confluence desired
- Knowledge of Power BI is desired
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and execution with Scrum Team.
- Create and manage Product Backlog by business value and priorities.
- Prioritize backlog and communicate priorities to the team.
- Act as the key decision-maker regarding product features and vision.
- Support multiple project teams through concept to implementation stages.
