Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Project Manager and Product Owner who will oversee project planning, backlog management, and Scrum collaboration to deliver complex software initiatives.

You will prioritize features, drive agile ceremonies, and maintain a clear product vision across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Office-based roles require Dallas, TX location with relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct project management experience with software teams in Agile environments.
• Extensive experience using Azure DevOps is required.
• Knowledge of AWS, Run:AI, infrastructure, CI/CD, and security considerations.
• PMP certification (Nice to Have) and/or Scrum Master (CSM) desirable.
• Knowledge of Confluence is a plus.
• Knowledge of Power BI is desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage project plans to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery with minimal errors.
• Create and maintain the Product Backlog with Scrum and Product Management teams.
• Prioritize backlog items by business value and clearly communicate priorities to the team.
• Act as the key decision-maker regarding which features the product will have and convey the vision to the team.
