Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Product Owner / Business Analyst to drive the delivery of technology solutions supporting Supply Chain and Logistics operations. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements, manage the backlog, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver business value.

The ideal candidate will have deep logistics domain experience, strong communication skills, and hands-on Agile experience working with stakeholders, engineering, and product leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3+ years in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or related roles.
• Strong Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) knowledge.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
• Domain expertise in Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) defining problems, objectives, constraints, and outcomes.
• Define and document Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Translate operational workflows into detailed product requirements.
• Establish product vision, objectives, success metrics, and sprint goals.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to align with business priorities.
• Support quarterly planning, roadmaps, and capacity forecasting activities.
• Ensure delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria and business expectations.
• Create, refine, prioritize, and retire backlog items; manage dependencies across initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering to size user stories; coordinate demonstrations and stakeholder reviews.
• Communicate product vision, roadmap, delivery timelines, and status updates.
• Facilitate discussions to gain stakeholder alignment and buy-in.
