Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC seeks a seasoned Product Owner/Business Analyst with pricing domain expertise in banking to translate pricing strategies into scalable technology solutions and drive Agile delivery.

You will collaborate with finance, product, risk, and treasury teams to define requirements, manage backlogs, support rate management and pricing analytics, and ensure regulatory alignment across BFSI contexts. This role offers competitive compensation and global opportunities.

Qualifications

We are seeking a seasoned Product Owner/Business Analyst with strong pricing domain expertise in banking, responsible for translating pricing strategies into scalable technology solutions, driving Agile delivery, and ensuring alignment across business, product, and engineering teams

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110 - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
Responsibilities:
  • Translate pricing strategies, models, and business rules into detailed user stories and functional specifications
  • Manage product backlog, prioritization, and sprint execution
  • Collaborate with pricing stakeholders (finance, product, risk, treasury teams) to define requirements
  • Support rate management, margin optimization, and pricing analytics initiatives
  • Drive integration with core banking systems, CRM, data platforms, and pricing engines
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and risk frameworks
  • Lead UAT, data validation, and release readiness
  • Ensure alignment with corporate banking processes & regulatory requirements
  • Manage prioritization, roadmap, and delivery outcomes
  • Support integration initiatives (APIs, core banking, vendor platforms) Own and manage product backlog for infrastructure and modernization initiatives (cloud migration, platform modernization, DevOps transformation).
  • Collaborate with business, architecture, and engineering teams to define product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Translate infrastructure strategy into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive modernization programs including legacy system transformation, microservices adoption, and cloud-native enablement.
  • Partner with DevOps, SRE, and platform teams to enhance automation, CI/CD, observability, and reliability.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, and technical dependencies.
  • Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements (especially in BFSI context).
  • Track KPIs such as uptime, performance, cost optimization, and delivery velocity.
  • Act as primary stakeholder interface for infrastructure-related product decisions.
Requirements:
  • Experience with pricing engines, rate cards, discounting, and margin management
  • Strong understanding of data models, APIs, and system integrations
  • Experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Delivery roles.
  • Strong background in infrastructure, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modernization programs.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and legacy modernization patterns.
  • Experience working in banking/financial services or regulated environments preferred
Preferred, but not required:
  • Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working.
  • Passion to learn new technology.
  • Relevant industry (banking middle/back office/Finance) experience.
