Job summary

First Horizon Bank Operations is seeking an Operations Business Systems Manager (BSM) to optimize AI-enabled tools and business systems across the Operations organization. You will translate operational needs into requirements, maintain a prioritized backlog, and drive ROI through AI, automation, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, information systems, CS, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in business systems management, product ownership, business analysis or agile project management.
• Experience implementing or managing AI, automation, or analytics solutions.
• Understanding of operational risk, compliance, and banking regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
• Agile (Scrum or Kanban) certification or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Product Owner for AI-enabled business systems and tools with a prioritized backlog.
• Lead requirements elicitation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Agile ceremonies.
• Champion AI and automation to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee the end-to-end SDLC for Operations AI, including documentation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Monitor performance metrics and user adoption to realize value and cost savings.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and reduction of manual work.
• Coordinate with Line 1 Risk to ensure compliance with risk and control standards.
• Support changes with change management, training, and clear communication.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders, IT, vendors, and support teams.
• Collaborate with EPIC Culture partners to promote inclusive and ethical tech change.
