Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an AI Sr. Data Engineer to design and operationalize AI-enabled solutions across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, data science, risk, and product teams to turn complex business needs into secure, scalable capabilities that deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate combines applied data science, NLP, machine learning, automation, model validation, and software engineering in a regulated enterprise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience applying AI/ML, NLP, or predictive analytics to enterprise problems.
• Experience delivering data science, software engineering, or risk analytics in regulated environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, validate, and deploy AI/ML capabilities.
• Apply NLP, forecasting, embeddings, anomaly detection and optimization to enterprise data.
• Build reusable models, data pipelines, APIs, and dashboards.
• Support full model lifecycle including data prep, training, validation, deployment, monitoring.
