Job summary

Mercor is hiring a Chief of Staff to the Head of Product. You will act as the operational backbone for a fast-paced org, aligning cross-functional teams across Marketplace, Studio, RL Environments, and the Eval Platform to drive coherent roadmaps and strong execution.

You will shape customer communications, strengthen team processes, and own onboarding and performance reviews, ensuring high ownership and clear, exec-ready plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a chief-of-staff, product-ops, strategy & ops, or PM role; fast-scaling teams a plus.
• Strong product intuition for what to build and why.
• High ownership; accountable for outcomes.
• Operational excellence with lightweight processes.
• Structured written communication ready for execs.
• Ability to influence across teams without formal authority.
• Sound judgment handling sensitive information.
• Balance of rigorous analysis and strategic storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Run the operating rhythm with planning and review cadences across the product org.
• Coordinate competitive intel and hiring efforts.
• Standardize roadmaps to enable apples-to-apples prioritization.
• Own customer communications and monthly product updates.
• Build interfaces between Product and adjacent functions (marketing, developer relations).
• Support PM onboarding and coordinate performance reviews.
• Tackle high-leverage cross-cutting initiatives and drive them to completion.
