Job summary

Perry Ellis International, Inc. is seeking a Product Operations Associate to provide essential operational support to the Sweater VP.

You will coordinate the product lifecycle, manage sample logistics, and maintain accurate product data across internal teams and factory partners. Responsibilities include organizing sample shipments, updating PLM packs, and ensuring timely approvals while maintaining strong communication with overseas offices.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5 years experience working with sweaters.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product operations, development coordination, or sourcing support for sweaters.
• Experience working with factories and managing sweater details preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage samples, tech packs, and product data with accuracy.
• Self-motivated and adaptable team player with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Strong interest in learning Sweater development and Yarn detailing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational tasks across the product lifecycle with Design and Sourcing teams.
• Receive and organize incoming sample shipments; manage the sample closet for sourcing and design needs.
• Track and fulfill sample requests and approvals.
• Create, update and ensure accuracy of PLM tech packs and product records.
• Serve as point of contact for factories and overseas offices to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Approve pre-bulk SMS samples for materials and construction; attend FIT to confirm accuracy.
