Job summary

SKIMS is seeking an Assistant Store Leader – Product to partner with the Store Leader in managing visual merchandising, product storytelling, and customer experiences at South Coast Plaza. You will drive merchandising execution, zoning, and staff development to elevate the SKIMS brand on the sales floor.

The role focuses on leading merchandising, product flow, and campaigns, while coaching a team to deliver on KPIs and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a retail leadership role focusing on visual merchandising, styling or customer experience.
• Proven track record of driving sales through merchandising decisions and leadership on the floor.
• Strong visual merchandising skills to create impactful store displays.
• Able to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching to achieve business results.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual merchandising strategy and execution.
• Lead floor layout, product storytelling, and customer-centric merchandising.
• Use store reports to drive results and optimize product flow.
• Ensure floor is zoned for an excellent customer experience and visual appeal.
• Coach Team Members on merchandising, product knowledge, and campaigns.
• Maintain store standards of cleanliness, organization, and proper signage.
• Lead product moves, visual updates, and floor sets (mannequins, windows, signage).
• Develop a team of strong product storytellers and confident staff.
