Job summary

Molex is seeking a Product Specialist to join the Optical Connectivity Group, driving strategic marketing, commercialization, and promotional plans for Datacom and Medical products. You will partner with Product Line Managers to create training, collateral, and customer-facing materials while supporting sales and marketing initiatives globally.

You will coordinate sample shipments, support tradeshows, and help deliver product messaging through roadmaps and brochures, aligning with manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering, sales, product development, marketing, or optical/electrical components.
• Experience preparing and delivering presentations.

Responsibilities

• Create & update product marketing collateral to promote products via website and other marketing channels.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize formatting for technical documents per product family.
• Support Product Managers with tasks such as order tracking, sample shipments, and prototype builds.
• Engage with PMs to refine product messaging for internal and external promotion.
• Coordinate with Molex MarCom on product release documents and market launches.
• Review strategies for distribution partnerships, stocking packages, registrations, and other initiatives.
• Learn SAP, BW reporting, and RPM Systems to support PLMs with reports and analysis.
• Develop knowledge of Datacom & Medical industries and products through proactive engagement; lead product trainings eventually.
