About the Role:

You will be responsible for communicating the value of NetFoundry products, driving customer engagement and learning the voice of the customer. This is a hands-on role in which you will create all types of great content - from product documentation to marketing collateral to sales enablement material. Lots of content - you don't want this role if you don't enjoy creating great content.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity and networking market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Documentation, Positioning & Messaging
  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling product documentation and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Create and refine product positioning strategies for different segments and ICPs, and help build marketing tactics around those strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, product team and other stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints, and to communicate the voice of the customer to those teams.
  • Develop product-focused content, including web pages, user guides, brochures, presentations, case studies, and blog posts.
  • Build sales and partner enablement collateral.
  • Go-to-Market
    • Help execute GTM strategy for new product launches and updates to existing products.
    • Help align cross-functional teams on common messaging and understanding of the voice of the customer.
  • Market and Customer Understanding
    • Conduct competitive analysis.
    • Gather insights from customers, partners, sales teams, and other stakeholders to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Customer Engagement & Advocacy
    • Work closely with customer success and support teams to understand the voice of the customer and use those insights to improve product marketing efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of experience in product marketing with exceptional, hands-on skills in designing and building product and marketing collateral.
    • Experience in product marketing for cybersecurity or networking leaders and innovators.
    • Strong understanding of product marketing principles and the product lifecycle.
    • Strong technical background, preferably secure networking or cybersecurity related.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear and persuasive messaging on complex technical concepts.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success.
    • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus (e.g., CRM systems, marketing automation, social media, analytics).
    • Creative problem solver with a strategic mindset and a passion for technology and innovation.

    Environment and Location:

    We are a remote-first company but value in-person interaction with teammates, customers and partners. For this role, preference is given to candidates in our pod locations of Charlotte, NC and Rochester, NY. You will work in a fast-paced, high-performance startup environment as part of a globally distributed team. Travel is a requirement.
