Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Manager based in the United States.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market initiatives for configure-price-quote (CPQ) software solutions serving manufacturers with complex products and sales processes. In this role, you will shape product positioning, develop compelling messaging, and translate technical capabilities into clear business value for diverse audiences. You will lead product launches from planning through execution while partnering closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams. You will also strengthen customer relationships through advocacy, reference programs, and expansion-focused campaigns. Using market research, competitive intelligence, and AI-assisted tools, you will help identify opportunities and improve marketing effectiveness. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment at the intersection of manufacturing technology, customer engagement, and product innovation.

Accountabilities
  • Product launches and marketing programs: Lead end-to-end launch planning and execution, including launch briefs, campaign coordination, messaging alignment, and sales enablement. Collaborate with Content, Design, Web/Digital, and Demand Generation teams to deliver effective, consistent, and timely programs.
  • Product positioning and messaging: Own and refine the CPQ messaging and positioning framework, translating complex software capabilities into persuasive narratives that resonate with both technical and business buyers.
  • Go-to-market strategy: Partner with Product Management to identify market opportunities, define target segments, and develop differentiated value propositions. Adapt messaging and go-to-market plans in collaboration with EMEA and other regional teams.
  • Customer marketing and advocacy: Develop and manage programs that encourage customer upsell, expansion, and advocacy. Build a structured customer reference program and a library of compelling case studies that demonstrate customer value.
  • Market and competitive intelligence: Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify trends, understand customer needs, and inform pricing and packaging recommendations. Present actionable insights to Product Management and marketing leadership.
  • AI and marketing automation: Apply AI-assisted tools and automation to improve efficiency, streamline repeatable workflows, enhance content quality, and deliver stronger marketing outcomes as technologies evolve.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Serve as a central connection point across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, ensuring consistent storytelling and alignment throughout the customer lifecycle, from product launch to renewal and expansion.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in product marketing or relevant customer marketing roles within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing product messaging and positioning frameworks for software solutions.
  • Experience building, managing, or supporting customer reference programs and/or case study initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, product launches, and sales enablement in a SaaS business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling, presentation, and the ability to translate complex product features into clear customer benefits.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to use AI-assisted tools thoughtfully to improve productivity, content quality, and marketing execution.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, a proactive mindset, and the ability to turn insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Preferred: Experience with CPQ, product lifecycle management (PLM), or other manufacturing and engineering software.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with customer marketing, customer advocacy platforms, and reference-management tools.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, private-equity-backed environment.
  • Preferred: A genuine interest in building long-term customer relationships and communities, along with curiosity and confidence in using AI tools for everyday marketing activities.
Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package, including a base salary determined by experience, education, relevant skills, responsibilities, and work location.
  • Full-time position eligible for a bonus.
  • Paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and parental leave for employees working 30 or more hours per week.
