Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales and marketing of technical equipment (preferably compressed air).
• 4-year degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing, or equivalent.
• Must be self-directed and able to motivate others; service oriented.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development and marketing communications plans.
• Create product price lists and technical data for regional sales.
• Coordinate informational sessions, training programs, and quotation standards.
• Monitor competitor pricing and provide product development recommendations.

Your role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Product Marketing Manager. You will be part of our Air & Gas Solutions team reporting to Business Line Manager. In this role, your mission is to promote the development and growth of the product line through the development and successful implementation of business development and marketing communications plans and excellent customer support and service.You will contribute directly to how we create highquality products and solutions for our customers.

Your day-to-day

• Business Development- In consultation with the GM,BLM and Regional Sales Managers create and implement business development and marketing communications plans.Provide monthly reports to management regarding the effectiveness of business plan implementation in achieving sales goals.
• Marketing Communications- Develop and distribute product price lists and relevant technical data to regional sales. Develop and implement informational session and training programs as required to achieve business development goals. Create quotation standards and systems to ensure excellent, prompt response to customer inquiries.Review competitor positions and create competitor comparison reports. Based on these reports, provide recommendation to management regarding products that could/should be developed. Additionally monitor competitor pricing to make sure we are competitive in our pricing model.
• Customer Service- Review and respond promptly to customer and sales staff inquiries relevant to the product line.
• Professional Development - Through training and development, remain current in the product knowledge and sales/marketing skills necessary to be effective in the position.
• Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

Your skills and experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in sales and marketing of technical, industrial equipment (preferably compressed air equipment).
• Proven ability to successfully achieve sales goals and implement business development planning.
• 4-year degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be a self-directed team player, who has a positive attitude, can motivate those around them, and is service oriented.
• Must also have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point,
• Some travel to support field sales activities will be required.
