Position Summary

The Product Marketing Associate will play a central role in shaping and communicating the value of NextLabs’ product portfolio through engaging and strategically aligned content. This role is customer-facing and is responsible for owning and developing high‑quality marketing assets for NextLabs products, including videos, whitepapers, social media posts, blogs, solution briefs, and other collateral, that support product positioning, demand generation, and sales enablement.

This position requires strong storytelling capabilities, excellent writing and visual communication skills, and the ability to translate technical and complex concepts into content that resonates with both technical and business audiences.

Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Product Support
  • Work with the Product Management and Demand Generation teams to support product launches, feature announcements, and campaign initiatives.
  • Identify and develop content that aligns with buyer personas and the customer journey, aimed at driving awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Assist in creation of sales enablement materials such as presentations, one‑pagers, battlecards, and pitch decks.
  • Participate in solution selling, helping to understand customer needs and how NextLabs’ suite of products can help address those customer requirements.
Competitive and Product Market Analysis
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to shape product content strategy and prioritization.
  • Understand products adjacent to NextLabs, and advise on how NextLabs can effectively compete with or partner with those products.
  • Identify which products would be most valuable to build integrations with, and work with the vendors of those products to come up with a joint GTM plan.
  • Perform competitive analysis to determine NextLabs products’ strengths and weaknesses.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Product Management, Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure content is accurate, on‑brand, and impactful.
  • Contribute to editorial calendars and content planning to align with product roadmaps, market trends, and campaign priorities.
Content Creation & Production
  • Be a product evangelist for NextLabs, and a thought leader for the data security industry, demonstrating to internal and external audiences why NextLabs is a technological and market leader.
  • Produce compelling multimedia content (videos, animated explainers, and recorded demos) that showcase product features, use cases, and customer value.
  • Write, edit, and publish high‑quality content across formats including whitepapers, solution briefs, blog posts, case studies, and social media posts.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (e.g., product managers, engineers, sales engineers) to gather technical insights and translate them into accessible content.
  • Manage and publish product‑related content on social media channels, maintaining voice consistency and engagement with key communities.
  • Support email campaigns and newsletters with content that drives audience action and pipeline progression.
  • Monitor engagement and performance metrics for communications across channels to inform optimization and improve effectiveness over time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in product marketing, product management, content marketing, technical writing, or a related function (SaaS/B2B technology experience a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics clearly and creatively.
  • Experience producing multimedia content (video scripting, basic video editing, visual design) and familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Canva, Figma, or similar is desirable.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing best practices, and SEO principles.
What You Will Bring
  • A desire to own and drive the marketing for your product, identifying what is needed and executing on the plan to make it a reality.
  • Passion for storytelling and translating technical solutions into engaging narratives.
  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive and results‑oriented approach.
