Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products is seeking a Product Manager to lead sales and profitability for Roofing Solutions brands. You will drive product strategy, oversee launches, and collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance to meet revenue goals.

The role involves market research, cross-functional leadership, and managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Travel up to 50% and a base site at a manufacturing location are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of marketing, sales, or related experience.
• Experience in Stage/Gate process a plus.
• Proven track record of success thriving in an energetic, fast paced work environment.
• Building materials experience desired, but not required.
• Self-starter and able to work independently while holding self and others accountable.

Responsibilities

• Set product and marketing strategy for Roofing brands of the Westlake Royal Building Products portfolio.
• Full P&L responsibility for managed product lines.
• Plan and execute product lifecycle, capturing voice of the customer and defining strategic direction.
• Provide effective communications to internal and external customers.
• Ensure annual sales and profit targets are met or exceeded.
• Set strategic pricing and advise on price negotiations.
• Lead pre-product launch activities and coordinate with Sales.
• Lead or support cross-functional teams from Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, and Sales.
• Develop and maintain marketing programs and projects.
• Gather market and competitive intelligence and share with the organization.
• Represent product at industry shows, associations, events, and trainings.
• Participate in annual budgeting and manage project expenditures.
