Job summary

chargecloud GmbH is seeking a (Senior) Product Manager for Payments to shape and expand the payments product area, integrating charging infrastructure, partners, and services into scalable solutions. You will lead PSP and payment terminal integrations, ensuring customers can access the right payment methods for their markets.

Qualifications

• Several years’ experience in product management or as a product owner in the SaaS sector, with payments/FinTech knowledge.
• Experience in the integration of payment terminals is an advantage.
• Strong ability to structure complex business, technical and regulatory requirements and translate them into product decisions.
• Experience in backlog management and discovery, and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape development of the payments product area from discovery through delivery and performance measurement.
• Manage, structure and prioritise the product backlog in collaboration with Engineering, QA and UI/UX.
• Carry out discovery activities and stakeholder management, balancing customer and market requirements, strategy and implementation.

As a (Senior) Product Manager for Payments, you will shape the further development of a key product area at chargecloud and integrate charging infrastructure, partners and services into scalable solutions. You will strategically develop our portfolio of PSP and payment terminal integrations and ensure that our customers can use the right payment methods for their markets. Join a team that makes our customers’ charging businesses a success – and play an active role in shaping the future of electric mobility. You will be responsible for the further development of the payments product area – from discovery through to delivery and performance measurement. You will manage, structure and prioritise the product backlog in close collaboration with Engineering, QA and UI/UX. You’ll carry out discovery activities and stakeholder management, striking the right balance between customer and market requirements, product strategy and implementation. You’ll monitor market, compliance, security and regulatory developments and derive relevant product requirements from them. You’ll define and analyse suitable metrics to evaluate the success, payment quality and acceptance of our developments.

• Several years’ experience in product management or as a product owner in the SaaS sector, as well as practical knowledge of the payments/FinTech sector.


• Experience in the integration of payment terminals is an advantage.


• A very good understanding of complex business, technical and regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to structure these and translate them into clear product decisions.


• Experience in backlog management, prioritisation and discovery, as well as in collaborating with engineering and delivery teams.


• In dynamic and challenging situations, you maintain a clear overview, set clear priorities and continue to work reliably on your tasks.


• You are fluent in spoken and written English and communicate very clearly and proactively.


• We would be delighted if you also have a good command of German.
