Job description

Product Manager- Logistics SaaS Startup (Remote)

We’re a venture-backed core team of successful last-mile logistics founders and operators setting our sights on the biggest, most fragmented market we’ve ever gone after—the $2.1T global trucking freight industry. After building Amazon's last-mile service for every shipper not named Amazon with AxleHire, we are now revolutionizing the "middle-mile" with W/:\RP! W/:\RP is an optimized network of cross docks and carriers connected through one tech platform to bring shippers the best rates, transparency, and service quality in the transportation industry. As we continue to scale, we’re seeking a skilled and analytical Product Manager to drive product development, leveraging wireframing, data analysis, and project management expertise while collaborating with our global teams.

Role Description

At W/:\RP, you’ll step into a fast-paced startup environment where we’re tackling the $2.1T trucking freight industry—a massive, complex market that demands innovative solutions and sharp execution. Our tech platform connects a sprawling network of cross docks and carriers, delivering unparalleled rates, transparency, and service quality to shippers, and you’ll play a pivotal role in making that happen. Expect to work remotely with a global team, collaborating across time zones with offshore engineering and design crews. This isn’t a slow-and-steady gig—ambiguity is a given, deadlines are tight, and the stakes are high. You’ll bridge the gap between technical teams and business goals in a dynamic landscape where every feature you build could redefine how logistics works. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and shape the future of trucking freight with a team that’s all in, this is your chance to make a mark.

What You'll Do:

  1. Define and prioritize product features by conducting data analysis using SQL, Google Sheets, and Excel to uncover user needs, market trends, and performance metrics.
  2. Create wireframes and mockups to communicate product concepts and workflows to design, engineering, and stakeholder teams.
  3. Speak directly with clients going over our product offering and maintain a feedback loop with our userbase.
  4. Lead end-to-end project management for product initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery, using agile methodologies.
  5. Collaborate with offshore engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution of product development cycles.
  6. Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories for technical teams.
  7. Monitor and report on product performance using data-driven insights, iterating on features based on feedback and analytics.
  8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align product goals with company objectives.
  9. Manage multiple priorities and deliver on tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring:

  1. 3+ years of experience in product management or data-oriented roles.
  2. Proficiency in wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Whimsical, Sketch) to create clear and actionable product designs.
  3. Strong data analysis skills with hands-on experience in SQL, Google Sheets, and Excel for querying, modeling, and visualizing data.
  4. Proven project management experience, with familiarity in tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana, and agile development processes.
  5. Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Comfortable hopping on calls during offshore hours as needed.
  7. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or SaaS platforms is a plus but not required.

Benefits:

  1. Remote position with your choice of a Mac or PC provided by the company.
  2. Opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing logistics tech company transforming the trucking industry.
  3. Exposure to a fast-growing startup with a collaborative, innovative team.
  4. Competitive compensation based on experience.
  5. Potential for career growth as the company scales.
