Job summary

Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Product Manager to lead our risk assessment platform. You will develop expertise in risk workflows, gather client insights, and translate problems into actionable product work for the IA team.

Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional partners to shape vision, build roadmaps, and deliver high-value features. You will present value through demos and support client implementations while championing data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Strong technical expertise; engineering experience considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycle, the product operating model, and product management techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and visualize complex concepts to any audience.
• Able to become a trusted partner across all teams to champion their ideas into clear product vision and roadmaps.
• Demonstrated focus and attention to detail.
• Resourceful, creative and motivated to learn quickly and solve challenging problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep expertise in risk assessment workflows and market dynamics.
• Gather customer insights through research and regular client interaction; translate problems into actionable solutions.
• Articulate and evangelize the product and component vision across the IA team.
• Develop and implement component strategy; translate strategy into roadmap and backlog.
• Participate in product discovery; identify ideas, evaluate them, and drive to delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure successful feature implementations and manage dependencies.
• Demonstrate product value through demos to clients and stakeholders.
