Job summary

Berkley Management Protection is seeking a Product Manager to drive the development, enhancement, and execution of the management liability product strategy. You will focus on product development, underwriting enablement, and user experience improvements that support profitable growth.

Key responsibilities include coordinating product filings, monitoring market trends, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve agent portal functionality and overall workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management/administration, Mathematics, Finance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science or Economics.
• Minimum 5+ years of Product Management, Product Development, Underwriting, or related insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of product and underwriting strategy.
• Assist in design, development, and implementation of new products, coverage enhancements, and endorsement solutions.
• Support product filings and coordinate with legal, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders to facilitate timely implementation of product changes.
• Monitor market trends, emerging risks, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product enhancement and portfolio growth.
• Leverage portfolio performance, production, and market data to support product recommendations and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain underwriting training materials and product documentation.
• Participate in product governance initiatives, including QA reviews and underwriting authority enhancements.
• Partner with underwriting, product management, operations, and technology to improve agent portal functionality and user experience.
• Communicate product changes, market insights, and strategic initiatives across the organization.
• Minimum 10% travel required.
