Job summary

Molex, a Koch company, is seeking a Product Manager for Interconnect – Input/Output (I/O) to guide development, strategy, and lifecycle management of rugged connector systems and cable assemblies for aerospace and defense applications.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements, drive portfolio growth, and lead cross-functional projects from concept to launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in product management, product marketing, business development, or related electronics industry experience.
• Technical understanding of interconnect products, cable assemblies, connectors, or related electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for high-reliability I/O connector systems and cable assemblies.
• Gather and translate Voice of Customer (VoC), market intelligence, and competitive insights into product requirements and growth opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional product development projects from concept through launch with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing.
• Manage assigned product lines through lifecycle including enhancements, pricing, cost management, and end-of-life decisions.
• Develop business cases, forecasts, and market assessments to support portfolio growth and investment decisions.
• Engage directly with customers to understand requirements, validate concepts, and support strategic opportunities.
• Monitor product performance, profitability, and market trends; recommend actions to improve results.
• Maintain knowledge of technologies, industry standards, and aerospace/defense market requirements; support presentations and training.
