Job summary

Figma is seeking deeply technical Product Managers to own the developer platform, including MCP Server, REST APIs, and key integrations like Figma for Slack and ChatGPT/Claude. This full-time role can be based in one of our US hubs or remote anywhere in the United States.

You will shape platform strategy, drive architecture decisions with EMs and tech leads, and translate conversations with customers and partners into concrete commitments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience on highly technical products.
• Proven experience shipping developer tools, infrastructure products, or AI-powered technical systems.
• Shipped measurable quality improvements to a product with clear metrics.
• Hands-on technical fluency; able to read a PR and participate in architecture discussions.
• Strong systems thinking with ability to optimize across complex components.
• Clear technical communication, distilling concepts into decisions and direction.
• Track record of driving strategy and execution across ambiguous, fast-moving areas.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy for one or more parts of the developer platform (MCP Server, REST API) and related surface areas.
• Partner with EM and tech leads to make key architecture and UX decisions.
• Talk with product teams, customers, and partners to distill learnings into platform commitments.
• Raise the bar for technical PMs by pattern-matching across areas and engaging peers as needed.
