Job summary

Selective Insurance is seeking a Product Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic imperatives across an agile program. You will champion product thinking, collaborate with product leadership and IT, and drive measurable business value while mentoring a team of Product Owners.

You will engage with customers and stakeholders to translate needs into a prioritized roadmap, champion outcomes, and continuously improve product and program performance in a regulated insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of the P&C insurance industry and domain knowledge
• Mastery of distilling and decomposing business strategy and communicating a compelling vision
• Mastery of collaboration and stakeholder management; appreciation for diverse perspectives
• Expertise in customer and user engagement and related methodologies
• Experience with agile methodologies and tooling
• Experience coaching and developing Product Owners and teams
• Experience with regulated products and writing/refining agile requirements

Responsibilities

• Interprets and translates product strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap and communicates outcomes
• Owns end-to-end value delivery and alignment with strategic goals across an agile program
• Acts as chief customer advocate, guiding feedback and incorporating outcomes into product vision
• Conducts market and competitive research to inform product initiatives
• Leads data collection and analysis to guide decision making and prioritization
• Leads a team of Product Owners, removes obstacles, and ensures program-level continuous improvement
• Manages program backlog refinement and prioritization of features
