Job summary

Selective Insurance is seeking a Product Manager to champion value delivery across a moderately sized agile program. You’ll translate strategy into an actionable roadmap, advocate for customers, and guide a team of Product Owners to deliver measurable outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with product leadership, IT, business partners, and stakeholders to ensure prioritization aligns with business goals, driving continuous improvement and tangible value for our customers and the company.

Qualifications

• Strong background in business analysis with a focus on value delivery.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of the property & casualty insurance landscape.
• Skilled at stakeholder management and aligning business needs with tech delivery.
• Experienced in agile development and iterative product delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities across senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Translate product strategy into a clear, actionable program roadmap.
• Own end-to-end value delivery at the program level with cross-functional alignment.
• Advocate for customers and translate feedback into product improvements.
• Lead market and competitive research to inform product initiatives.
• Analyze data to guide prioritization, costs, and business value.
• Coach and develop Product Owners to enable empowered decision-making.
• Coordinate dependencies and ensure transparency of progress and outcomes.
