Job summary

Acuity Insurance is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the development and performance of insurance products across the operating territory. You will drive the vision, roadmap, and strategy, balancing growth and profitability while understanding market trends and customer needs.

The role collaborates with underwriting, distribution, and actuarial teams to deliver data-driven insights and strong product outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in multi-line P&C insurance are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-line property and casualty insurance with a background in underwriting, claims, distribution, actuarial science, or product development.
• Proficiency in MS Office with demonstrated skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated success in leading projects from inception to delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a deep understanding of the assigned product(s) and develop a strategic vision and tactical plan for profitable growth.
• Champion developed strategic plans through to execution and align roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Monitor product performance, industry trends, and customer feedback to manage the portfolio.
• Identify opportunities for new product ideas or enhancements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Produce recommendations using data trends and communicate results to leaders to guide strategic direction.
• Develop and manage key business metrics mapping outcomes to strategy objectives and identify trends.
• Foster marketplace intelligence through analysis of product, pricing, growth, and profitability by segment.
• Collaborate with underwriting, distribution, and actuarial to synthesize feedback for strategic direction.
• Use data-driven insights to inform corporate and marketplace strategy.
• Drive alignment across the organization on product strategy by line of business or geography.
• Work with Customer and Communication areas to frame internal and external communications.
• Present regular updates on product performance to stakeholders.
• Stay current on industry trends and pursue professional development.
• Some travel may be required; attendance is highly regular.
