Anthropic in San Francisco is seeking a Product Manager for Claude Science to own a major area of the roadmap end-to-end, expanding into new scientific fields and enabling enterprise R&D workflows. You will work closely with researchers to translate insights into shipped features that improve model capabilities for science.

You will collaborate with research, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to define readiness criteria, run early access, and ensure successful launches for researchers

Qualifikationen

• Product management experience shipping technical products in close partnership with engineering and design.
• Scientific or deeply technical background to reason with domain experts about workflows and model behavior.
• Strong grasp of AI and LLM concepts; and experience with model evaluation methodologies.
• Data-driven decision making based on usage data and eval results.
• Excellent user empathy and ability to synthesize feedback into priorities.
• Navigate ambiguity as a first-principles thinker across scientific domains.
• Clear written communication to align research, engineering, and go-to-market teams.

Aufgaben

• Own vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for a major Claude Science area, shaping overall product direction.
• Spend time with scientists in interviews and customer conversations to define priorities and success metrics.
• Partner with research to define evals, surface failure modes, and feed insights back to model development.
• Drive model and feature launches end-to-end with cross-functional teams and early access programs.
• Identify scientific domains and data sources Claude Science should support next with evidence from users.
• Prototype ideas with Claude to validate before committing engineering time.
• Collaborate with safeguards, policy, security, and GTM to enable enterprise use.
• Drive enterprise readiness: security reviews, deployment controls, procurement considerations.
