Job summary

Verra Mobility is seeking a Product Manager to own a backoffice/cloud data processing product area, driving strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management. You will lead discovery with customers, collaborate with engineering, design, and operations, and shape solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

The role partners with Legal, Compliance, and Sales, emphasizes AI-enabled discovery and modern product operating models, and reports to the Director of Product.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of product management experience with outcomes
• Experience leading customer discovery and translating insights into decisions
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering and design
• Experience in regulated or complex industries (auto, fleet, payments, fintech)
• Comfort contributing to evolving product operating model
• Active use of AI tools to enhance discovery, documentation, and delivery
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong critical thinking with evidence-based approach
• Familiarity with transportation/smart mobility sector a plus
• Experience with product tooling such as Aha!, Azure DevOps, JIRA

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous customer discovery through interviews and data analysis to validate problems
• Frame problems with clarity and evidence for prioritized roadmaps
• Define and maintain a measurable, prioritized roadmap grounded in outcomes
• Balance user needs, business objectives, and feasibility
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations to shape viable solutions
• Own end-to-end problem solving and prioritization
