Job summary

CarGurus, a leading automotive marketplace, seeks a Senior Product Data Analyst to join our Dealer team in Boston. You will tackle a complex data environment, build core assets, run experiments, and support growth of the dealer product suite.

You’ll dive into unstructured analytics, craft insights for senior leadership, and collaborate with Product/Engineering to advance data modeling and automated transformations. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of analytics experience with complex modeling and statistics.
• Experience communicating high-impact analyses to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory analyses using SQL and Python across disparate data sources to quantify product performance and user behavior.
• Compress high-level exploratory requests into concrete calculations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to brainstorm data-driven product innovations and roadmap plans.
• Develop and audit metrics that define business success and provide actionable insights.
• Build dashboards and visualizations to guide senior decision-making.
