Intelligems is a remote-first company building AI-powered experiences for merchants. We are hiring a product manager to own the Experiences pillar—Visual Builder, AI-driven creation, and the infrastructure that governs what goes live on a merchant storefront.

You will partner closely with engineering and design to define how merchants create tests, personalization, and content variants with reliable delivery.

• Product and design craft: you have a specific point of view on what makes a complex, flexible product accessible to a non-technical user.
• AI-native product instinct: you think about AI as the mechanism that does the work and ensures operability by an agent.
• Technical agency: you stay with hard problems until a path emerges and ship feasible solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the creation experience end-to-end: Lead the Visual Builder and all experience creation surfaces, from first interaction to go live.
• Define what it means for a non-technical merchant to build and launch a test successfully.
• Work with design to simplify a technically flexible product without sacrificing power.
• Own experience management: how merchants find, edit, pause, and understand the tests they've launched.
• Define the AI-powered creation flow — how merchants describe what they want, how the agent builds it, and where humans stay in the loop.
• Set product requirements for reliable agent-operated surfaces: state management, error handling, feedback loops.
• Identify where AI reduces friction and where it introduces confusion, and build accordingly.
• Define previews, validation states, and signals that tell a merchant their experience will work before they go live.
• Partner with engineering to set and hold the quality bar for everything touching a live storefront.
• Own the reliability of the creation-to-launch pipeline — from how experiences are configured to production behavior.
