Job summary

Sierra is seeking a Senior Product Manager in San Francisco to lead the development of enterprise-grade AI agents that handle thousands of conversations daily. You will partner with engineers and customers to translate complex AI concepts into practical solutions and craft compelling messages for executives.

You will drive discovery, demonstrations, and ongoing product enhancements, influencing technical direction and aligning with customer needs across organizations.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience building highly technical products.
• Experience in Product Management or senior product development role.
• Ability to craft messaging for prospective customers, including executives.
• Ability to explain complex technical ideas to both non-technical and technical audiences, including AI developments.
• Degree in a technical or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers and customers to build and launch enterprise-grade AI agents.
• Work with customers at all levels to discover needs and tailor solutions.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations of the agent product.
• Address technical obstacles in business processes with technical counterparts.
• Refine virtual agents to fit customer needs and workflows.
• Become trusted advisors and influence strategic technical direction for customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement new capabilities for customer success.

Salary: $211,000 - 251,000 per year

Requirements:

• We bring 5-7+ years of experience building highly technical products.
• We have prior experience in Product Management or a comparable product development role at or above Senior Product Manager level.
• We can craft and adapt messaging for prospective customers, including executives.
• We can explain complex technical ideas to both non-technical and technical audiences, including recent AI developments.
• We hold a degree in a technical or related discipline, or we have equivalent professional experience.
• Nice to have: AI-related product development experience, especially with AI agents.
• Nice to have: some coding experience with React, TypeScript, and Go.
• Nice to have: an MBA or equivalent professional experience.
• Nice to have: prior roles working directly with end customers to influence software development.
