Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to own a core platform area, translating ambiguous problems into a prioritized backlog. You will write specs, define metrics, and participate in architecture discussions, collaborating closely with engineering, data teams, and GTM stakeholders.

You will ship outcomes, measure adoption, and iterate features based on data, with a focus on dashboards, funnels, and AB testing. Strong technical fluency and communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of product management experience shipping software products.
  • Demonstrated ability to write precise specs and define API-level or data-level requirements - technical fluency is required.
  • Hands-on comfort with analytics tools (SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar) and experimentation frameworks.
  • Track record of shipping features through ambiguous problem spaces with minimal hand-holding.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to present tradeoffs crisply to executives and engineers alike.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bonus: experience with B2B SaaS, platform/API products, or developer-facing tools; background in engineering or data analysis; formal agile certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for a core platform area, from discovery through launch and iteration
  • Write clear, technically grounded PRDs and user stories that engineers can build from without ambiguity
  • Run discovery with customers and internal stakeholders; synthesize findings into prioritized requirements
  • Define success metrics and instrument them - work with data teams on dashboards, funnels, and A/B test designs
  • Partner with engineering leads on scoping, sequencing, and technical tradeoffs; make the call when priorities conflict
  • Manage launch execution end-to-end: beta programs, rollout plans, documentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Track post-launch performance and kill or iterate on features that don't move the metrics that matter

Job description

About The Role

The role owns the product strategy and roadmap for a core platform area - translating ambiguous business problems into a prioritized backlog that engineering teams can execute against. This is a hands-on PM role: writing specs, defining metrics, making scoping tradeoffs, and sitting in on architecture discussions.

You will work directly with engineering leads, data teams, and go-to-market stakeholders. Success is measured in shipped outcomes and adoption - not in decks produced.

Key Responsibilities
What We Are Looking For
  • 3–6 years of product management experience shipping software products, with at least 2 years working directly with engineering teams
  • Demonstrated ability to write precise specs and define API-level or data-level requirements - technical fluency is required, not optional
  • Hands-on comfort with analytics tools (SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar) and experimentation frameworks
  • Track record of shipping features through ambiguous problem spaces with minimal hand-holding
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to present tradeoffs crisply to executives and engineers alike
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Bonus: experience with B2B SaaS, platform/API products, or developer-facing tools; background in engineering or data analysis; formal agile certification
