Product Manager – Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Optomi, in partnership with a leading home improvement retailer, is seeking a Product Manager with experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with a strong preference for Manhattan WMS experience.

Position Summary

The Product Manager will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization’s warehouse management capabilities, with a focus on Manhattan WMS and the integration layers connecting software and hardware vendors. This role will work closely with a balanced team of six full-stack engineers and an IT Manager to define product priorities, drive enhancements, and ensure the team is aligned to business and technical objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on product management experience, a strong understanding of WMS environments, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. This is a product-focused role, so candidates should have experience owning product direction and priorities rather than primarily managing projects or timelines.

What You'll Do

• Own product priorities and help define the roadmap for warehouse management capabilities.
• Support and enhance the Manhattan WMS environment and related functionality.
• Manage and provide product direction to a balanced team of six full-stack engineers.
• Partner closely with the IT Manager and collaborate with other balanced teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve and enhance integration layers between WMS, software vendors, and hardware vendors.
• Work with engineering teams to define requirements, clarify priorities, and ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Participate in and support a Scrum environment utilizing two-week sprints.
• Manage dependencies and collaborate across teams to deliver product enhancements.
