Our client is an established medical device company with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and high-quality products. The organization is entering a period of increased commercial growth and is expanding its Product Management team to support the continued development of its portfolio.

This is an opportunity for a Product Manager who enjoys owning products, developing commercial strategies, and turning market insights into measurable growth.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with commercial thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to move initiatives from strategy through execution.

The Opportunity

The Product Manager will have responsibility for the strategy, lifecycle management and commercial growth of assigned products within a clinically focused portfolio.

This individual will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, R&D and other cross-functional partners to identify opportunities, develop strategies and execute initiatives that strengthen product performance and support future growth.

The role will include both managing established products and supporting new product launches, making this a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day product ownership with longer-term strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and lifecycle management for assigned products and SKUs

  • Develop and execute annual marketing and product plans aligned with business objectives

  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, market penetration and customer adoption of existing products

  • Develop strategies to maximize the potential of mature products within the portfolio

  • Support new product launches from strategy and planning through commercialization

  • Partner with Sales to understand customer needs, market dynamics and field opportunities

  • Use CRM data, customer insights and market information to identify trends and inform product strategy

  • Develop positioning, messaging, sales tools and other commercial resources

  • Collaborate with Clinical and other subject-matter experts to translate technical information into compelling commercial messaging

  • Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations and other teams throughout the product lifecycle

  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends and customer needs

  • Analyze product performance and recommend strategies to address opportunities or challenges

  • Support product education and sales enablement initiatives

  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for the assigned product portfolio

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution

  • The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple products or SKUs rather than a single-product portfolio.

  • Experience managing both established products and new launches is particularly valuable.

  • This role requires someone who can influence without relying on direct authority.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus

  • Several years of Product Management experience, preferably within medical device, healthcare, biologics or another clinically oriented industry

  • Experience managing multiple products/SKUs

  • Demonstrated experience with product lifecycle management and commercial strategy

  • Experience supporting or leading product launches

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams

  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%

  • Own products from strategy through execution

  • Drive growth within an established portfolio

  • Support innovative new product launches

  • Work closely with Sales, Clinical and other cross-functional teams

  • Influence product strategy and commercial direction
