Job summary

Dow seeks a Counsel in its Litigation group with a preferred Midland, MI location, but Houston, TX is considered. You will manage Dow’s asbestos and product liability litigation and supervise paralegals and staff across cases.

The role requires a JD/LLM, 7+ years of practice, US work eligibility, and travel up to 25% annually. Domestic relocation assistance is available, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• JD or LLM with admission to a state bar.
• 7+ years practicing as an attorney; US work eligibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent legal counsel to Dow and affiliates.
• Manage external counsel, experts, and discovery activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and settlements.
• Lead case strategy, depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
• Oversee budgets and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
