Dow invites an experienced Counsel to join its Litigation group. The preferred location is Midland, MI, with Houston, TX also considered. You will manage litigation for Dow and affiliates, including asbestos and product liability matters, and supervise external counsel and experts.

The role requires a Juris Doctor or LLM, at least 7 years of practice, bar admission, and the ability to travel up to 25% annually. Domestic relocation is available.

Qualifikationen

• Juris doctor or Master of Laws.
• Minimum of 7 years practicing as an attorney.
• Admission to State Bar or eligible for admission.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% annually to meet business needs.
• U.S. based position requires ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.

Aufgaben

• Provide legal counsel to clients independently.
• Manage external counsel and experts; oversee discovery and docket management.
• Draft and review legal documents; coordinate with internal subject matter experts.
• Set strategic direction for cases and develop settlement strategies.
• Communicate proactively with Legal Department management and clients.
• Participate in depositions, hearings and trials; oversee appellate issues.
