Job summary

Dow is seeking a Counsel in its Litigation group with preference for Midland, MI, and Houston, TX considered. You will manage litigation for Dow and affiliates, including asbestos and product liability matters.

Responsibilities include providing client counsel, drafting documents, supervising external counsel, discovery coordination, and strategic case direction. Requires JD/LL.M, 7+ years' experience, bar admission, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor or Master of Laws, required.
• Minimum of 7 years practicing as an attorney in the U.S.
• Bar admission or eligible for admission in a U.S. state.
• Willing and able to travel up to 25% annually.
• U.S. work authorization is required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide legal counsel to clients in Dow and affiliates.
• Review and draft legal documents and manage external counsel.
• Set strategy for cases and oversee discovery and dockets.
• Lead depositions, hearings, trials and appellate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with internal SMEs and supervise paralegals and staff.
