Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking a PLS Manager to lead the Product Line Support engineering team. You will supervise daily activities, develop strategic plans, and ensure design processes meet cost and quality objectives.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree preferred, and at least 5 years in similar roles. Fluent in English and Spanish is required, with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in similar positions.
• Fully bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience with PROE, SolidWorks, AS400, SPC, Lean/Design Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of ISO9000 and project management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the PLS engineering team (Lead Engineers, Master Designers, Supervisors).
• Report status on PLS team assignments and metrics to cross-functional teams.
• Support cost-out activities and ensure proper design procedures.
• Coordinate with other units to facilitate project completion and product development.
• Review project documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead design changes to improve manufacturability and reduce costs.
