Job summary

Rnb Consultancy is seeking a lawyer who would rather build than bill to shape legal products used by founders. The role supports seed-stage startups with on-call lawyers and an AI platform mapping employment law across all states, generating documents and workflows, and flagging health issues before they arise.

You will own onboarding, customize workflows, scope engineering tickets, and guide delivery and quality.

Qualifications

A JD (strongly preferred), or real legal experience at a startup or in-house.
Product-minded: you've scoped, shipped and owned a legal workflow or product, and can explain it in plain words.
Experience at a startup or a very early-stage team; this isn't a role with a playbook handed to you.
At least 3 years of experience.
Working from the San Francisco office, 9-9-5

Responsibilities

Onboarding and customisation calls with startup clients.
Tailored legal workflows for each client (commercial contracts come up a lot), set up fast with the in-house LLM tools.
Scoping tickets for engineering, then owning delivery, testing and output quality.
Room to grow into head of legal engineering or a forward-deployed customer lead.
