Success Matcher Recruitment is assisting a fast-growing legal tech client seeking an experienced product owner with a legal background in San Francisco, CA. You will own end-to-end workflows, QA AI outputs, and translate client needs into practical features while collaborating with engineers and co-founders.

The role emphasizes building repeatable legal workflows, ensuring contract compliance, and shaping product architecture at an early stage with equity incentives.

• Client Onboarding & Workflows: Map customer commercial needs into custom, repeatable legal workflows on the platform.
• AI Quality Assurance: Review, QA, and validate AI-flagged legal issues for contract accuracy and completeness.
• Product Optimization: Translate client feedback and legal requirements into actionable product features for engineering.
• Workflow Engineering: Refine prompts, modules, and automated AI workflows using CLI, Claude Code, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: 3–8 years in legal practice or legal tech product/solutions roles.
• Legal Depth: Strong background reviewing contracts, interpreting commercial workflows, and identifying legal compliance flags.
• Product Ownership: Proven ability to manage deliverables, translate user feedback into product specs, and own end-to-end quality.
• Location & Work Authorization: Based in or willing to work in-office in San Francisco, CA; US Citizen or Green Card holder (no visa sponsorship available).
