Job summary

Duolingo seeks a VP of Product for Growth and Monetization based in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA on a hybrid schedule. You will lead Growth and Monetization, overseeing a large PM organization, driving DAUs and revenue through rapid experimentation and strategic prioritization.

You will partner with engineering and design, mentor senior leaders, and set North Star metrics to ensure sustainable growth without compromising learner experience.

Qualifications

• Executive product leadership experience in consumer tech with measurable impact on DAUs or revenue.
• Strong judgment and operational rigor, delivering forecasts without harming user experience.
• Proven track record of leading managers of managers and developing senior product leaders.
• Experience guiding through org changes and faster execution.

Responsibilities

• Own DAUs and revenue growth and deliver against forecast.
• Manage pillar leads for Growth and Monetization and an org of PMs.
• Coach and develop senior product leaders and raise talent bar.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to ship with clear tradeoffs.
• Build world-class product operating mechanisms and rigorous experimentation.
• Allocate resources between optimization and strategic bets.
• Represent Growth and Monetization at executive level with progress, risks, and plans.
